About Us
The Mike has been the official student newspaper of St. Michal’s College in the University of Toronto since 1947.
We deliver to over 40 locations around the entire University of Toronto campus.
Our potential readership includes over 4400 students at St. Michael’s College and 52,296 students on the University of Toronto: St. George Campus.
We reach a close-knit Catholic community that can maintain its identity while respecting and accepting students of various religious backgrounds and cultures.
Our paper contains a wide array of content that spans a variety of different tastes (news, arts, sports, opinions, living), featuring campus and local community stories.
We have an online presence with our official website, http://www.readthemike.com, and with The Mike TV, our online video service with its own YouTube Channel (TheMikeNewspaperTV)

Our Board of Directors
The Mike Board of Directors is the oversight body of The Mike Publications Inc. The Board is composed of 4 elected student representatives as well as one staff representative, one faculty representative and one alumni representative, in addition to the editor-in-chief and business manager. The Board of Directors typically meets once a month to discuss business and policy matters pertaining to the corporation and to oversee the well-being of the paper. The Board is mandated by a set of by-laws. In addition to our regular meetings, the Board also organizes an Annual General Members meeting, typically held in February or March, in which all staff and students are welcome and invited.
